Positive ions move towards the corona electrode, while negative ions move towards the precipitation electrode (anode). When gas containing droplets and dust enters the electric field, positive ions in the corona zone and negative ions in the corona zone collide with dust particles and droplets and attach to them, achieving the charging of dust particles and droplets. Under the action of electric field force, charged dust particles and droplets move towards electrodes with opposite polarity and are collected.
Due to the presence of water droplets, the resistance of water in electrostatic water dust collectors and demisters is relatively low. When water droplets combine with dust, the specific resistance of high resistance dust decreases, and the working state of electrostatic water dust collectors and demisters becomes more stable. In addition, due to the use of water flow flushing for electrostatic water dust and mist collectors without vibration devices, there will be no secondary dust generation. The electrostatic water dust collector has high removal efficiency for acid mist, aerosols, fine dust, heavy metal mercury, etc.
